Biography:
Leon qualified as physiotherapist from the University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town, South Africa after completing his Honours degree in Human Movement and Sports Sciences. The combination of degrees has enabled him to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of his patients and has incorporated scientifically based exercise programmes for each individual.
He has worked with numerous sporting teams and athletes during their pre-, in- and post season conditioning training and also provided injury treatment and prevention strategies for novice and expert alike. He is the Chartered Physio for the Clare senior hurlers and provides treatment to their injuries and helps in setting up their conditioning programmes. Recently he has assisted Trevor Lee in his treatment and preparation for the Swiss Alpine Marathon.

Teams can also be assisted in setting up strength and conditioning programmes as well as supervised gym training sessions.
Runners and Triathletes can avail of the Heart Rate monitored training programmes as well as Biomechanical assessment in order to determine correct footwear.
